Canadian Tai Liu Chuan Fa Students
Sifu Larry Klentz, and Sifu James Croy training Tai Liu in Canada, both are training master hand techniques
Sifu Klentz and Sifu Croy working another master hand technique
Sihing Jean Mathieu Sihing Mathieu a few years ago when allowed to start his Tai Liu Training
Sihing Gary Sutton Sihing Gary Sutton was also able to start Tai Liu Chuan Fa a few years back, both Sihing Mathieu and Sihing Sutton, were able to start Tai Liu Chuan Fa much earlier then most other students. The reason for this was both came from Martial Art back grounds before starting at Ky Moo Kwan. I have to say however that both wanted to start at White belt when they arrived to train with us. They both came up through the belts much faster then normal students, because they were taught excellent basics where they came from. Once they were at blue belt in our system, they were asked if they wanted to start Tai Liu Chuan Fa, both were so happy that they could not contain themselves. They had smiles from ear to ear, knowing full well what was in store.
Sihing Evan Picture taken back years ago, when Sihing Evan was a green belt, now at black, Sihing Evan is training Tai Liu Chuan Fa. Once he started Tai Liu Chuan fa, he could not believe what he was learning. His teacher Sifu Dee, says that Sihing Evan loves the Tai Liu Chuan Fa, for one thing it helps every one with learning how to use your hands differently. Tai Liu Chuan Fa, also has an extensive lesson in body mechanics, leverage, how to strike body cavities, soft spots like, arm pit, under ear, throat, sides of neck, back of neck, solar plexus, and so much more, the course is so extensive, the first one alone lasts two years, and that for a student that takes notes, trains four nights a week, and always pays attention totally.
Sifu Dee and his student Sihing Hartlin years ago training Tai Liu Chuan Fa. This was when Sifu Dee, started to teach his student Sihing Hartlin Tai Liu Chuan Fa. In the picture above Sifu Dee teaches his student a restraining technique, however this technique can change in a split second to a technique with a lot more bite.
Neck Twisting technique This technique can be used for many different endings, twisting your opponent down to the ground with ease. It is always used after you have had an exchange of technique with your opponent, using this motion to subdue your opponent without hurting him, or it can be changed slightly to cause much more damage.
Twisting to ground Neck twisting technique to ground, however we stay on our feet. As long as one foot is flat on the ground, you will still be able to defend yourself from all directions, easily able to let go of your opponent to defend against his friends. Remember never ever lie on the ground holding someone like in wrestling, if you do it can spell the end of your life. Anyone can stab you in the back while you are lying on the ground, always remember when using a grappling technique, one foot is flat on ground, while your knee is on ground or in opponents back. As you can see your opponent is totally restrained, his head is facing away from you, your knee is in his back, you still have a good hold on your opponent, but at the same time, you are not lying on the ground with him, this way it is easy to defend yourself if need be by other opponents.
Years ago, Sifu Charles Croy and Sifu Gallant The picture above was taken a few years before Sifu Charles Croy left for university, We miss him dearly. Sifu Croy has Sifu Gallant by the head with his thumb in Sifu Gallants eye, and his index and middle finger behind jaw, and under ear, little finger under jaw, closer to chin. Once a student learns this technique properly, you can hold onto the skull like a bowling ball.
Sifu James Croy working with Sifu Larry Klentz One of the typical endings in some of the Tai Liu Chuan Fa techniques. Your knee is breaking his leg, your finger is in his eye, your other fist is attacking his bladder, all three at exactly the same time.
Sifu Dee, and Sifu Gallant Both Sifu Gallant and Sifu Dee started Tai Liu Chuan Fa many years ago, both worked very hard for their diploma's, both received Diploma's from Grand Master Tallbear himself. To this date, which is 2007, both are working very hard for their second degree black belts in Tai Liu Chuan Fa.
Much more to come Sifu Dee
