Tai Chi Chuan

Tai Chi can be a way of life or a bobby, either way it will calm you, and give you something you would never have dreamed, had you not tried it. I will come back soon and talk about Tai Chi and what it has done for me.

Highlights

          Giving your life to Tai Chi is training it as much as you can daily, it does not have to be all day long, but it does have to be steady. By steady I do not mean every second day, I mean doing it as if you have to brush your teeth, or eat breakfast. If one can do the long form three times  a day, the Chi Kung techniques three times a day, and sitting meditations three times a day, every day for the rest of your life, that is living Tai Chi, that is called training as a way of life.

Sifu Dee teaching Sihing Hartlin Tai Chi ten years ago year 2000, these two have been training together for years now, and it shows. One thing that will be interesting is when the internal kicks in. What I mean by that is any internal exercise has an amazing kick to it, but it takes ten years before you really start to feel the results. Your teacher will tell all the students that this type of power comes much later, but when it comes, it will be like nothing else and well worth the time and effort. However most in the west, can't wait, they can't wait for results. What do they do, one of the most commen things is weight training. That works very fast, with in three months you can already see the difference. Stand in the mirror and admire your new found body. However I have to say that this type of muscle is not as strong as the muscle that comes from internal training. Plus your internal training depending on the level, can be twice as hard to do as any of the external methods. I say as long as you are doing something, it is fantastic, because does it really matter what we do, what matters is that we do it. Plain and simple.
