Forty Years Of Students
Top Students of Sifu Fiedler in Edmonton Alberta
Glenn Chenier on far left, Sifu Fiedler's first black belt. Middle of the 80s. Glenn Chenier, first person to make it to Black Belt in Ky Moo Kwan. Because Glenn was Sifu Fiedler's first black belt, they had a cake ready with a black belt on it, they had a small gathering with wine and small treats, it was a day to remember. For Sifu Fiedler it was one of the hardest things he did. The reason for this is he never ever wanted someone to look at one of his black belts and say oh that guy is not trained well. What Sifu Fiedler wants is for people to look at anything they do, and say Wow, was that ever incredible, and that is exactly how he taught until he had to retire. Now Sifu Dee is taking on this same ideal, making sure that all black belts are highly trained individuals.
Master James Croy Sifu Croy has been ill lately, he is at the club for some times a year, then has to leave for a few months, we all miss him dearly, and hope that he is fine and free of his illness in time. Sifu James Croy a fixture at Ky Moo Kwan, one of the oldest students to train at Ky Moo Kwan. Sifu James Croy has also started at the end of the eighties, and started around the same time as Sifu Larry Klentz.
Sifu Lely, Sifu Charles Croy Again how can we talk about Ky Moo Kwan without first mentioning Sifu Charles Croy, In the picture above, he is teaching Sifu Lely, actually helped Sifu Lely with many amazing techniques. We all can see the excellent job he has done with Sifu Lely. Sifu Charles Croy was one of the most wonderful children we have ever taught, he made us laugh so hard when he was four years of age when he started. We also lost Sifu Charles Croy when he went to university, but he has done very well for himself, and has also taught classes in Toronto off and on. We miss you dearly Sifu Charles Croy, always so happy when you come in for a visit from Toronto.
Father and Son
Sifu Krys van Hoof Sifu van Hoof is one of the most gifted women we have ever had. Her kicks are incredible, as is most of her technique she worked on daily. She started with Ky Moo Kwan when she was four years of age, and by the time she was finishing high school we lost her to university. However instead of stopping her training, she started many classes in Toronto and had students in her own right that were very well trained. When Sifu van Hoof has the time, she starts classes, when she is very busy, she has to stop her classes to make sure he makes the grade. I find her mentality so wonderful, she is down to earth and one of the most compassionate people you could ever meet. We miss you dearly Krys.
Top Instructors, Ky Moo Kwan 2000
Student David Mc Adam Sifu Fiedler's Private Training Hall in Edmonton Alberta the Year was 1978
Sifu Lely, Ash Lely, Mr Lely Senior This picture above was taken years and years ago at the end of the nineties. One day Sifu Lely asked if it was Ok for Lely Senior to come and watch, of course Master Croy told him it was Ok, as he watched he could not believe how much his son had been taught in such a short amount of time, he is so happy to this day with his son.
Sihing Mathieu, Sihing Sutton Both Sihing Mathieu and Sihing Sutton years ago when they started, today they have both earned a teaching assistant position, plus they are easily the top students in the club
Sihing Chris, was one of the top students until he changed his employment, he joined the military, and is now everywhere around the world. Chris was a wonderful assistant instructor, he helped teach with Sifu Dee, Sifu Klentz, Sifu Croy, and Sifu van Hoof.
Sifu Larry Klentz Sifu Klentz is one of the oldest students we have, not only in real age, but Kung Fu age also. Sifu Klentz started at the end of the Eighties, and is with us to this day. Sifu Klentz has been coming and going because of his employment, but now that winter is coming, he will be in most classes to help teach. By the way Kung Fu age is how old we are in Chinese Martial arts. You can have a nine year old who has trained since he was four, meaning his kung fu age is five. And you can have a forty year old, who has trained for three years, which makes him only three years in Kung Fu age. That would mean that the nine year old is the forty year olds older brother.
Students that have all done excellent in the club, please forgive us if we have not gotten your picture here, as the person that does the web site, does not go to the classes

Black Belt Shelley Price Sifu Dee's first black belt student When Sifu Dee worked at Club 2000, he developed his first black belt student. Sifu Dee is the only black belt student in Ky Moo Kwan to train a student from white to black, other then Master Ky Fiedler. Sifu Dee's student name is Shelley Price. Shelley was an excellent student Sifu Dee says, from the time she started, right up until she had to leave for her new employment in the army. Sifu Dee says that he could not believe how fast she was able to learn all of the forms, techniques, and self defense. Not only learn, but able to use what she was learning while sparing. Sifu Dee also taught Shelley to do push hands with him, and she was also his first student to learn how to do free style push hands with him, which is a very hard technique to learn. Push hands is hard enough to do properly, Push hands blind folded, is even harder, but you take push hands, put on blind folds, and then go free style, she was simply amazing he says. He misses her a lot, when she told him she was leaving to join the army, Sifu Dee was very upset. Now for the first time did he understand what it felt like for his work of art to move away.
Shelley Price, we miss you lots, always walk in peace, and always stay safe
Under Construction
Thank you Sifu Dee
