Self Defense Two

Single Wrist Escape cross over

Person walks up grabs you by the wrist, cross over wrist to be exact. What do you do, freeze and allow him to have his way, or fight back. First is to stay calm, how to stay calm, always breath. Side step, twist his arm, grab his wrist, attack back of his elbow with palm. Because of the way you stepped, it will allow you to do your next motion.

As you break his arm, kick to groin, slap his arm down at the elbow, stepping forward after kick, punch to face.

Now everything is in same order, but should be explained better if this was a teaching tool, but it is not a teaching tool, this is only to show you that you can do it, you can learn the martial arts if you go to a qualified teacher and you will be able to learn all types of techniques and methods to stay calm, alert to situations, and in time these techniques will come out without thought. It comes from instinct. The hardest thing to do is to go out and learn, to join a class and be that new person. This is not easy, and it is very frightening to many people. But once they actually meet the people in charge, and go through a few classes, they will scold themselves for being so silly. But you want to know something, we are all this silly, each and every one of us are frightened, and this is again because of the unknown.

Shoulder Grab Escape

Man reaches over and grabs you by the shoulder, or collar, take your opposite hand, put it on top of his hand, so that he cannot remove it. Now at the very same time, smash your palm into his elbow, and twist him around down to the ground.

As you can see this techniques turns into an arm bar, and with this, you can control your opponent very easily without causing him serious injury. If you look at the technique above, you can see where you are to break the arm, if you do not want to break the arm, once you have experience, you can put enough pressure to hurt his or her arm, and then still twist him or her down to the ground, easily.
