Self Defense part One
Never ever try to copy any techniques from books or film, or internet for that matter, the point is, you need to have a professional teacher that can teach you proper breathing, proper technique and everything else. Lets say you are doing the motion right, but your breathing is off, you are still going to make it so much harder to do, you have to do it all as perfect as can be, and the only way to do this is to go out and find a good traditional Chinese Kung Fu school.
Shoulder Grab
Attacker walks up and grabs women by the neck. She uses her left hand to go over top of both his hands, grabbing the last wrist, as soon as she has firm hold on wrist, she slams her other palm into his elbow, breaking his arm. She keeps hold of his arm, and quickly slides her right leg to her right, as he turns to her left, throwing him down to the ground using his broken arm to make him do down.

I put these here for you to see how easy it is, not for you to try to learn it here. I can only promise you that if you go out and find a good teacher, you will not only be doing your techniques properly, you will love you new found love, the Chinese Martial Arts.
Hidden Distance
Chock escape

As attacker walks up and grabs you by the neck, sink in your stance, which is neutral stance, and turn sideways punching at same time. When your attacker has both hands out to grab you, his two arms are shorter then your own. We call this hidden distance, for anyone not trained to understand this basic method. Doing this for real, you make sure to punch deep into the solar plexus, if your attacker is short and you are tall, punch to his throat, if you are short and he or she is tall, punch to solar plexus, you see it all depends on size, height, weight. With each different height, weight, and size, the techniques are slightly adjusted for that person or attacker, depending on which side of the fense you want to look at this from.
