How and when Master Fiedler started to take pictures

One of the best things you can do when starting your training in the martial arts is to start taking pictures right away. When the years start to go by, you will remember everyone you trained with. Your teachers, your students, your good times and bad times. Every single thing you went through will be documented in picture form. As important as taking pictures is to start a diary. With the diary that has only to do with your martial arts training, in time that will become interesting to look back at all the past years of your life in the martial arts. One thing that has happened to Sifu Fiedler is when he meets someone from his past, and they have a different version of what happened in a certain year, all Sifu Fiedler had to do was bring out his diary, he had the date, time, place, everything that had to do with his lessons from his teachers, to his teachings to his own students. This way you can never ever forget a thing, not one form, motion, or technique. Most important was the words that came out of your Grand Master's mouths, some of these lessons would be lost forever if you had not written it down. This is how many of the martial arts systems start to degrade from one generation to the next, no one writes anything down, no one documents the forms, or techniques in the forms, all of these things are so important.

Again Sifu Fiedler says most important is to be able to use the same terms your teacher used with you, to your own students. To be able to teach the same terms, phrases, and verses exactly how it was taught to you, this way again your students will benefit as much as you yourself did. In fact when Sifu Fiedler was teaching, when someone would stop him, and give him praise for the teachings that came out of his mouth. Sifu Fiedler would always tell them, it is not my words, these are Grand Master Tallbear's words. If he was teaching Ying yee, he would say that these are not my words, these are GM Chows words. He again would always say, he was not that smart to make up something to amazing. He would elaborate on this by saying, when Grand Master Tallbear would tell him something so profound, as soon as he got home for the night, he would write it down, never able to forget that lesson, something he would have for his students, and there students fifty years from now. Nothing will be forgotten, and nothing will be ever lost. All of these things are very important, because it gives you a very clear picture of your history in the martial arts, most important it gives your students the chance to learn exactly what you were taught, and in the same order.... As it will be for all generations behind you in the years ahead. However always know, that it is important for you to do the martial arts the way you feel comfortable doing. If you do it a few times a week, that is Ok, if you do it once a day for an hour that is what you should be doing if you are a police officer working under cover, able to restrain people twice the size very quickly. But the fact remains, you have to do it every single day six times a week. And again all I can say is you would be able to take down anyone. At the same time, you would not become nervous any longer. The reason for this is learning how to concentrate on your breathing. Once you learn how to do that, you become very confident. Still with fear, that will never leave, you can thank God for that one. He hard wired fear into our bodies and souls, to keep us alive. We all have to have a little fear, but not the kind that makes you freeze. This happens to so many people, so if this happens to you and you have not told anyone out of a fear of ridicule. All I can say is if you shared this with someone, I can guarantee that if this person was honest with you, he or she would agree with you, that it happened to this person also. You see this is a negative type of fear, we allow fear to control us. We have to control our emotions. That does not mean to turn into some cold monster. All this means is to learn how to calm yourself down. You will do this with any type of breathing technique, from "Chi Kung", or from iron Body form. In fact it will amaze you to learn these things. As you become amazed, your confidence grows, with the growth of your confidence, creates courage and compassion together. These are all what you would learn from one of these rare systems, and I am not talking about learning how to control fear here, that comes with the most basic system of Chinese martial arts.

This is most important for every one. Especially all of you that have learned from some Grand Master who was taught a very unique secretive system of Chinese Boxing, not taught to even the population where it was developed by some family of monks, Buddhist, or Taoist, there was not just Buddhist temples as some would have you believe. There were Taoist temples also. All you have to do is look at the religion here in the west, we have churches all over, some are Lutheran, some were Templar, , some are Catholic, and others are Pentecostal, over two thousand years of Christianity in Europe, and look at all the different sects of Churches. All you have to do now is look back to the East with this same thing in mind. There were Temples all over, some were hidden in the mountains, others were out in the open. Some were very small, others huge. But all in all, it is the same, as in Europe with the Churches there, once you think of it this way, it becomes much more clear, and then one can really see why there were six hundred systems of Chinese boxing in China today, and all from the past.

One has to realise that the past was just around the corner. It was not long ago when people had to fight with hand to hand, it was not long ago, when the martial arts had to really work. And yes there were many different systems that specialized in many areas. Some would be systems that taught all the basics of grappling, nerve strikes, restraining techniques, hand and foot technique, and much more. This type of system would work right away, and was taught to police officers, and to military because it did work right away, with not that much practise. Of course any type of security or special forces that needed to use it on a common bases, they would practise an hour a day, and with that much training they could defend themselves from most attacks. When I say most, I mean the population, not someone that was trained in other systems. There were other very unique systems that came up through the hundreds of years, that was used to defend against all the other types of styles. They taught how to defend against a boxer, meaning a western boxer, and someone who used their hands more often then not in China, as some southern systems did use most of the time hands. Also you have to realize that this type of system was used by the Emperor's guards, they were taught the absolute best methods and systems in Chinese Boxing that taught them how to defeat, anyone training in all other systems. I know that is hard to believe or take. Especially when you have many teachers telling you that all styles are alike, and all styles are good, or they would not be here. Well, I am not going to argue against this teaching, because in all reality, it is the truth. However again I have to say that the systems of Chinese Boxing that I am talking about, "because there are a few", are very rare, and very unique. They took ten years of training before they would work, and again what I mean when I say work, I mean to defend against all other systems, with what they had learned from that system, not the system they had learned before learning this type of system. You would have had to be a master in some other system for a master in one of these rare systems to teach you. The Warrior Monks were taught a type of system that again was much more extensive then the normal population in the Shao lin Temple. They were taught to defeat any type of grappler, wrestler, San Su, Tam Tiu, Wing Chun, Choy lay fut, Hung Kuen, Hung Gar, Hung Fut, Tai Chi, Ying Yee, Sum Yee, Hsing I, Ba Gwa, Ba ji, and a few more indeed. Please forgive me if you are training in one of the systems I am using as an example, because yes I do know, that some that I have mentioned also have a higher end to there system that is handed down to only one or two top students every generation. This knowledge again has to be documented and kept for all future generations to learn. Why is this so important, think about it, would you not want to help keep alive the wisdom of the ancients. It is so much more then just learning how to fight. I have to use that as an example all the time, because most people that do come here do expect to learn punch, kick, block. and not philosophy. However I do not push philosophy on anyone. I will praise it, explaining as best I can how much it can help people. Once in awhile coming out with something that Grand Master Tallbear taught to Sifu Fiedler, or something that Grand Master Chow taught to Sifu Fiedler. All these things are now being passed on to us, exactly how it was taught o Sifu Fiedler, and we can thank Sifu Fiedler for that, because this is what he always told us, this is how he always explained himself away, always giving the respect to his teachers, never ever taking any credit for a word he taught. " Grand Master Chow", would say, " The teeth are hard and they fall out, the tongue is soft and it remains", Grand Master Tallbear, would say, " Pain is joy, and joy is knowledge". ...

One of these systems is called White Eyebrow Chinese martial arts, it is a system of martial arts that teaches you an amazing amount of information. The knowledge in White Eyebrow is ten times that of a normal system. I hope you can start to understand now that it would take a student ten years, instead of five  just to reach the level of expertise. When you receive a degree in this type of system, it is far more education, in being able to defend against other systems. Think about it, if there were six hundred systems of Chinese Boxing. Don't you think that there were some martial artists that got together threw time and people with means and power, would want to hire the best type of martial artist, able to defend him against all comers. I hope you see my point now, because this is still not that well known. Another system like this is a Southern Eagle and Mantis system. It was created to only attack nerves, body cavities, like arm pits, solar plexus, neck, eyes, to give you an example. And the breaking of bones all over the body, break collar bones, cheek bones, temporal lobe, using advanced type of aim with a barrage of blows and strikes that cause severe injury. This system of Eagle and Mantis was developed in the 14th Century, by a Grand Master Suu. Right up until 1979 was there a GM Suu family head of this system, each generation of Tai Liu Chuan Fa masters, was a Grand Master Suu, which is amazing. Going back six hundred years gives me an amazing feeling when I train this art. With each defense, we break an arm, or paralyze the limb, or paralyze some thing in the body, to shut the body down, Tai Liu is absolutely amazing compared to most other systems I have seen. The same with White Eyebrow, it was created with that same goal in mind, to defeat all other martial artists. To be very honest, they did a very good. Last to mention but not the least, is Luk Hup Bah Fah, a very unique type of Chinese Boxing, they call " Water Boxing", not so much because it looks like you are swimming on dry land, that is not it at all. It is more in the area, if you try to touch me, I will not be there. If you try to put your weight on me, I move from the weight, exactly right time, right pressure, turning my whole body sideways on the spot as he attacks straight on, he goes flying past you. This is the same for kicks. I have to add that, we do not fight, we do not fight in tournaments, we only defend ourselves to the letter of the law, always trying to restrain the attacker instead of hurt him. And always using his force against himself. If he gets punched hard, it is with his own force that he is hit with. We do not punch first, but we will always land the first blow. And you have to understand that even myself did not like that saying when I started, later I found out exactly that again this was one of those systems that take twice to three times longer to work, but when it does, it has a power that is very uncommon, hard to develop, and only the few will be able to take this type of system to the top. It does take a life time to learn. Yes we all learn a basic system first, to give us a good foundation, without a good foundation, we would have no balance.

. They would not teach the public because back at that time, before the gun, this was the secret weapon, this  was the system that could save the life of the Emperor, or valuable scrolls brought to another temple by Warrior monks.  in real battle, attacked by road bandits, they would never loose. In time word got out not to attack the Emperors goods, or you would die for sure. Same with some of the very wealthy families, because they could hire the absolute best. How would they know where to find the best. They had real life fights in city centers through history. Style against style, system against system. This is how some of these very unique systems were also found out.

Action packed

As you can see Sifu Fiedler is kicking a man in the head, his feet are right off the ground as he flies backwards threw the air. As you can also see, Sifu Fiedler wore running shoes, his opponent wore grebe steel toe boots. The reason why this fight started, was Sifu Fiedler worked in a bar as a bouncer. This guy wanted to kick Fiedler's butt. Fiedler always the diplomat told this guy that the fight would be broken up much to fast if they fought in the bar where Sifu Fiedler worked. Sifu Fiedler told the guy where they trained just up the road in a park on the week ends, and sure enough he came. He brought four guys with him, and wore steel toe boots. Because of how Sifu Fiedler was taught, he was told never ever to give anyone a chance, and if it looked dangerous to finish it fast. This fight lasted all of two seconds. The guys that came all became students of Sifu Fiedler when they seen how fast their tough street fighter friend flew through the air. Also the kick that Sifu Fiedler used was a soft type flat kick, using the flat of the foot like a slap. Once someone becomes experienced with this kick, at the same time you slap with your foot, you push, the result is someone flying through the air, but without injury, it is actually very exciting. Especially when you see this guy fly through the air, get back up and want more. Had he used his knife edge of his side of foot, the damage would have been terrible. What would that prove, I can guarantee that they would not have became students of Sifu Fiedler, the reason for this is anyone can kick some ones ass. But can every one have that type of control to be able to hit someone that hard and fast, without any injury. Sifu Fiedler never had a mean spirit in his body, never wanting to hurt people. By the time this picture was taken, he could use his side kick to aim people in any direction by kicking them a certain way. Earlier I mention how he would use the flat of his foot when kicking someone he did not want to hurt. Also when using the flat of the foot, you have excellent feeling in your bottom of foot like your palm of hand. You can push someone with the flat of your foot and send them flying literally ten feet through the air, and that without hurting them. Yet all you have to do is turn your foot sideway's a little, and it can become lethal. That is another difference between martial sport and martial arts, in a martial sport, you would never learn how to use different types of power. However in the martial arts, you would. In martial sports, you would not ever learn ancient weapons, or meditation, and I am not talking about sitting on the ground in cross legged position for one minute or two, with out learning what you are doing. This is ridiculous, pretending to do meditation with your students, is much worse then not learning it at all.

Much more to come soon

Sifu Fiedler looking at Cactus Plant, when Sifu Fiedler went to Vegas, he loved the desert, he went everywhere looking at rocks and plants and anything that was different then what he was used too, he loved it here, the colour he said was amazing, brillent pinks, and purple moutains, when Sifu Fiedler thought it would all be plain brown, was he fooled.
