Method One               Tyrant Elbow

This is a very hard method to follow, but I can tell you if you do, your elbows, shoulders, and back muscles will have areas trained that are other wise hard to bring to this level of expertise.

Method Two:               Iron Broom

Iron Broom is a very famous movement in Chinese Kung Fu. When doing an Iron broom, one has to wait for his opponent to kick towards you, as his kick comes up, you duck down and take his supporting leg out from under him or her. This technique works so well that once you have the timing down, it is hard to miss.

However you have to train your Iron Broom, not only in the air, but on Trees, or Poles, or other things that are in the ground. But a tree is a very good thing to work on, because of the different sizes. You start out with a very small tree, and work up to larger and larger trees, until you can use your iron broom against a tree of good size and you make it move from the technique.

Method Three:                  Tombstone Fist

There are many superstitions in Chinese Kung Fu. And there have been many things come out of China recently, where people look at acupuncture and say it is no good, until they find that it does work. They also said the same about many of the Chinese Herbs and teas. How are we to say that some of these superstitious methods are real or not, the main thing is, " Don't knock it until you try it".

Method Four:   Sky Dragon Claw

With Sky Dragon Claw, you use what is known as the dragon claw, which is usually holding all four fingers and one thumb in a small circle of claws, if your Tiger Claw has an open Claw held wide, the Dragon Claw is hold small and tight. When using this technique you use large bottles that can hold water or sand. As you progress through your training you can start to fill your container with more water or sand. Plus you learn to hold it longer and longer with each pose. Your fingers will become so strong, you could rip the flesh right off of your attackers body.

Method Five:                  Jump Hole

To start this, you have to dig down around two feet, and stand in a high horse stance, do your power of the instep, and land out of the hole with your feet on each side of the hole. As this becomes much easier and you find you can do it ten times and not even try, that is when you dig down another half foot, try it and if you still find it easy, dig down one more half foot, and then if you find it hard, even if you can only do it once, that is perfect for the next while, until you can do this jump with ease. Once you can do this jump with ease, that is when you will dig down another half foot and try again. Keep doing this for two years, and you will not believe how high you will be able to jump using two feet at same time.

Method Six:

Bending and Twisting Bamboo,

and also three section block, with partner or on tree:

Bending and twisting Bamboo is not something we can do in the west. What we can do is cut green twigs that are a few feet in length, and very strong, about twice the size of a chop stick. The Three section block we can do anywhere with a partner, or if we have no partner we can train on a tree, or poles sticking out of the ground. One of the best methods to harden the hands and forearms.

Method Seven:                                         Sky Dragon Claw

Some of these are with a major amount of superstition. As the sun is coming up, or doing down, you point your claw to the sun, and with a light meditation, you concentrate on the power coming into your claws from the sun.

Method Eight:                Pounding Palm technique

Using your palms, side or front, hit down on pile of bricks, you are not trying to break the bricks, you are trying to harden your hands on the bricks, start out hitting very lightly, and bring it up to a harder level every six months if you do not train very often, two or three months if you do train hard. And if you try to do this to fast, you will hurt your hands rather then build them up. Everything is in time. Have patience.

Thank you for dropping by, much more to come, drop by again to see how much more we have.
