Algonquin Park

All our lives we have lived twelve miles outside of the east gate of Algonquin Park. The East Gate is a dirt road, no asphalt on this road going into Algonquin Park. The East Gate is one of the less traveled roads into Algonquin, unlike the south where a highway runs through the lower end of the park. The South end has some expensive resorts and plenty of places to camp if you are a camper with tent or trailer, or if you want to go five star all the way, you can do it down on the South end of Algonquin. However you must reserve you place ahead of time, if you want to make sure you get your place to stay, it is very busy.

Algonquin park is beautiful any time of the year, it is one of the most beautiful places in Ontario. There are other places in Ontario that are just as beautiful. The thing is, how would you know where to look unless you went there to look for yourself. I started to travel all over Ontario, and we found so many places to go. Places to go fishing, places where we could sit out on rocks and watch the sun going down over the water's of Georgian Bay. I will remember going to these places my whole life. Below I will put as many pictures as I can.

Fishing on High Falls in Algonquin Park

Fishing on top of High Falls, a place that takes you one to two hrs by car and canoe from Pembroke. You can already be at your camp site and if you go early to sign for it, then no one else can get your camp area, even if you get there late, that camp ground is there for you. As long as you reserve it, and you can do that all over the Internet.
