We were training in a garage when Garry Hartlin started to train with us, we had one outside area, that was great from Spring until fall, but when winter came, the only club we had to train inside was a garage that had heating and was a double garage, so it was nice and big inside, it is so strange when in clubs that are so small, or so less in the area of having very much space or very much equipment. What we found with most of these places, from garages to basements to outside areas on the corner of a yard. Each one of these places is where most people trained the hardest, why? I wish I knew, but every time this happened, I was so surprised, because just maybe it is distracting to have club that looks like everything is chromed. and shinned.

Here is a club we don't have to many pictures from, but it was a good private club, somewhere you could go and know you would not be bothered, it was a great place. In fact this place was in one of Sihing Hartlin's businesses. He had one large room in the back of his computer business and it was enough room for ten of us to practise. We stayed in this place until he got another club. At first we used the other club for only group lessons, and in the place that Sihing Garry Hartlin gave us to use, only the top instructors and students could come.

Right now I am looking for more of the pictures from this time. I believe we were in this place for three years, and I got to admit that it was one of those places that we did need at the time. It got the high level students away from the low level students and allowed them to train without having to answer any questions or be interrupted while working on their own problems. There is always a higher level, always a higher door to go through, remember breathe through your nose and relax.

Sifu Krys van Hoof

Sifu Krys van Hoof was ranked to Black belt in this secret place where only high level students could practise. The only student that was not a high-level student that could come into any class, was Sihing Gary Hartlin. Aside from using this time as an experiment to see if Sihing Hartlin could catch on to a high level technique or was he to green at this point. You know what, we were very surprised by his determination. It was something to watch, he couldn't do the technique no matter how long he tried to get it. The first day he tried that is. After around a week of trying every day he could do it, and you know why, because he did not give up, he did not give in, like so many who do not know it is best to push yourself to limits not ever seen before.
