Sifu Fiedler training his kicks

Sifu Fiedler after one year and half of training, started to train the Nunchucks, started to train more animals, and GM Chow put Sifu Fiedler on a weight program, but a weight program that was designed for martial arts. It was completely different then lifting weights to get a v shape body.

Picture on Left, private student in basement, middle picture, teaching student that flew from Pembroke to BC to visit Sifu Fiedler when he was working on a Hop farm in BC for the summer. On the right, more of the guys that used to jog with me every day, but for half a day on Saturdays. It was so wild and fun, we would run a mile stop and fight, run a mile stop and do our forms, run a mile stop and do push ups and sit ups, and keep on going until we were all soaked to the bone.

To the left in a private training area, Sifu Fiedler training with one of his private lesson students. In the middle when Sifu Fiedler went to BC for the summer, he started lessons, they would work for twelve hours a day, come home and start class, it was over in two hours, after that it was rest until the next day. On the right side, we have five of the best guys that trained with Sifu Fiedler when he went for his runs. You can't forget that running is part of Kung Fu, or any martial arts, if you are not running, you are not getting the best training for your legs, it helps in flexibility, it helps develop the kicking strength, and it helps your breathing.

Training Tiger Claw with large stone

When in BC Sifu Fiedler used to train all of the techniques that GM Chow taught him. Sifu Fiedler and student is throwing a large rock at each other while in Horse stance. You have to grab the rock with a Tiger Claw, and then throw it back right away. You have to keep on going until someone cannot lift their hands up any longer. Stand in Deep horse stance, and throw rock in middle of partners body, if rock is dropped it lands between the legs, not on top of one of your feet. Ouch, with a large rock like this, that is going to leave a mark.

Sifu Fiedler sparring with group of guys every Sat, while jogging in Edmonton Parks.

After the two year mark in my training, all of a sudden every thing felt great, my feet started to hit there targets at all times. But only because of the Tam Tiu that GM Chow taught me. As with most feet fighting, it is not where your opponent is, that counts, it is where he is moving too that really counts. When you throw a punch or kick, do you really think he is going to stand and take it, no he will move. So what are you to do, kick to where he is going, not where he is. Ask your teacher about these types of techniques and surprise, surprise.
